In this media lesson we had decided to finish off our filming so we could finish filming the rest of our shots such as the shot-reverse-shot which we could do as all of our group where present. Morgy and i had shown the other two members of our group what we had filmed the day before and as a group decided that we overall preferred the night vision shots as we got a better vibe from them as they seemed more atmospheric.
For that lesson we had allowed ourselves forty five minutes to film so we would have enough time to start logging our different shots that we had filmed. While we started our first over the shoulder shot we had decided that for our plarimary task we had not fully read the brief. This was do to we had both of our characters standing rather than sitting which we then had to change. Also the brief stated that we our characters should only exchange a couple lines of dialogue. However, our characters had too much dialogue of which as a group had planned seem too complicated. therefore, we had changed are script to a more simple piece of dialogue.
Due to are changes this led our plot to be different. The new plot was change to two college girls talking about a photo that one has done and the other gives her opinion on it. Even though we had changed the plot we have still kept the match on action scene in and the photo scene in which adds variety.
From our decisions we then filmed our scenes around the photo bath as our table and used the stools as seats. Our filming went well and without a hitch until we had realised that we that shot a scene where continuity was broken so we then had to re- shoot it to make sure it was right, otherwise the audience would not be able to make sense of the film when they watch it.
Once we had finished our filming we went to the classroom. In this lesson Reno, are teacher, then taught us how to log, capture and edit our filming. We where shown how to use the programme software of Adobe Premier Pro which we had to capture our shots that we wanted to use for editing on our film, in case we had any shots that we either did not like or included mistakes such as corpsing - which i learnt in the lesson was actors laughing on camera.
However, before we captured our film on the computer we had to log our shots from our tape. This process took a while as we had so many different shots and i felt it was annoying counting the shots that we were not even going to use as for are photo scene we had so many useless shots.
